The insurance company, “State Farm” has a common practice of eluding the insurance commission. The goal is to maximize profit. Here is my experience and I hope you can get some benefit that you are not the only one on an island where State Farm is not paying out where they should be clearly be paying.

Document your effort via written letters where you cc your state’s insurance commissioner. Know that words spoken over the telephone = useless.

Let me repeat. Telephone conversations are useless. Take clear paper notes during the conversation and then write to your state’s insurance commissioner and to the insurance company STATE FARM.
