Go start an “Entrepreneur Week” bc it’ll help you, help your campus, helping yourself

Wake up. Startup.

Last fall, due to an annoying health issue, I was forced to take a step back from the uThinkTank team that I had brought into Bob Metcalfe’s 1SemesterStartup class. To me, this was heartbreaking since I had grown truly attached to what we were trying to do, the experience I was getting, and the people I was meeting. However, one great thing happened. Jonathan Van, one of our team members, decided to stick with uThinkTank and drive it through the 1SemesterStartup program. The hard part was that Johnny had to start from scratch to find a new team and re-work our plans. The team did great last semester and really got a bunch done. Most notably is the entrepreneurship portal our development team built for University of Texas’ IC2 that brought us our first chunk of revenue.
