Yes. Getting a US based cell phone (pre-paid) will lead to a “loan” of post-paid cell phone service.

What I mean is that when you’re coming to America, your first “loan” is the cell phone company. They “lend” you money by having you pay them for services post. By your paying them after services (post-paid cellphone service), you’re building credit
